Any chance anyone is going to make a stand for her?

I’ve thought about ways to make a stand, but I think there isn’t a stand that I can make without it looking weird (like a long pole going right up her behind). I just prop my model against the wall or another model and it looks fine without a stand.

Can’t you save it as something elsa please.

Yes, read the comment. I uploaded a pdf version.

I lack the skills to design one and I thought about some kind of wedge for her out flexed foot or some way of running a small dowel through her toe and giving her a wooden base.

That’s a good idea, but looking at my model, she’s weak on the right knee and I’m gonna need to reinforce it. I don’t think a wooden dowel would work going up the right toe because the weight will still go down on the right knee if I’m imagining your idea correctly. Maybe can you draw me a diagram of your idea if i’m wrong?

I MADE A STAND FOR LYN!!!! for the right leg that touches the ground, make a triangle out of cardstock so the bottem touches the ground and and the other side of the triangle runs along lyns foot,so the stand would = /. do the same for the left foot, and put a weight in the back triangle. that might sound confusing, but just make two triangles that touch the ground and lay flat against her feet. reinforce with two or three cardstock. you have to glue her onto it though=(

You don’t always need a stand to help display your model.
I’ve found the easiest way to display models without a stand is to add a weight to the inside of the feet before gluing the bottom on. I’ve done with a number of models and it works really well. You can use a lead weight, similar to fishing weights. Hope this helps.
